Adult and Teen Bread Class

A relaxed and enjoyable way to spend a day with your teenager – baking and chatting in the light and airy kitchen of the cookery school. The last Adult and Teen class was a great success, but filling a whole class has proved virtually impossible (even at the weekends and during school holidays)! What to expect:

An enjoyable, relaxed, and informative day. Everyone is welcome – from complete novices who’ve never baked a loaf of bread in their lives, to those who bake bread regularly and are keen to expand their repertoire or master a specific skill.

You will bake:

Fougasse / crusty rolls
Pain de mie (perfect for croque monsieur)
Pizza for lunch

Kneading and Stretch-and-Fold technique
Judging rising times and temperatures
Shaping, baking with firebricks and steam

Allergen information:

The classes include a wide range of ingredients including wheat, rye, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame sulphites and soya so whilst we make every effort to avoid cross-contamination, this cannot be guaranteed.
