Everyone is welcome in any of the classes! Whether you’ve never baked bread in your life, you have a vague memory of baking at school or you’re pretty good at baking bread but want to master specific skills or recipes, possibly with a view to selling your bread. With only 5 or 6 bakers in each class there’s plenty of opportunity for discussion and personal hands-on tuition. This class is probably the most straightforward of them all.
Great British Breads include:
White Swansea Loaf
Seeded Wholemeal Loaf
Sweet plaited wreath
Ham and cheese wraps
Programme:
9.30am Coffee and a chat about your baking experience and what you’d like out of the day
12 ish Second breakfast to keep you going
2.30pm Lunch in the dining room with a glass of wine and the first taste of your own bread
4.30pm Aim to finish. Times vary depending on experience, conversation and the weather!
What to bring: Just yourself, your questions and a smile. All equipment, aprons, ingredients, recipes, refreshments and lunch are included.
What you’ll take home:
A BIG bag of your bread
Recipe booklet
The skills, knowledge and confidence to bake at home
