Thai Curries

In January 2025 we packed our bags and headed to Thailand – to savour the incredible flavours, colours and textures of traditional Thai food. Lim at the Smile Cookery School on Koh Mak Island was a fantastic teacher and the recipes I’ve brought home are quick and simple to cook using ingredients available from most supermarkets / Asian food stores.

What to expect:
An enjoyable, relaxed, and informative day surrounded by people who love food and good company. Everyone is welcome – from complete novices to enthusiastic home cooks.
You will cook:
Pad thai, pork with garlic and black pepper, red curry paste to make red chicken curry and green papaya salad
Timetable:
10am – Coffee and a chat about your cooking experience & what you want out of the day
You’ll taste each dish as they are cooked and take home any left overs
Allergen information:
The classes include a wide range of ingredients including wheat, rye, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame sulphites and soya so whilst we make every effort to avoid cross-contamination, this cannot be guaranteed.
